Projects

The World Green Building Council reports that the built environment globally is responsible for almost 39% of the total direct and indirect CO2 emissions. This statistic highlights why we need to be responsible both with regard to new construction and retrofitting our existing building stock.

The attainment of Scotland’s Net Zero targets by 2045 necessitates the upgrading and retrofitting of approximately 2.6 million homes, equivalent to around 113,000 annually.

At LMA Architects we have an abundance of knowledge on sustainable architecture, design and retrofit. We tailor innovative solutions to both new build and works to existing buildings to meet our client’s, brief, budget and climate aspirations.

Wellbeing

We provide comfortable environments for our staff to work in. We operate a hybrid working model with flexible hours to allow all of our staff to maximise their work life balance.

Development

We support staff in their training and personal development and invest in developing skills and keeping up to date. This includes raising awareness of climate change and the vital role of design and retrofit in the future.

Community Impact

We are an integral part of the communities that we work in. Many of our staff volunteer within their communities across Scotland. In addition we support our construction partners to promote the construction industry and environmental design within schools and colleges.
