LMA Architects has been named as a leader in people management practice globally, having been ranked 10th in the Silver Employer of the Year (2-49) category at the annual Investors in People Awards.
The Awards recognise the top performers from across the Investors in People community across the globe that have met the new standard. Winners and rankings were revealed at a spectacular awards ceremony and dinner at Old Billingsgate, London, on 23 November 2017. Finalists represent the best of the best worldwide.
The Awards provide the opportunity to benchmark against high performing organisations globally. This year the 12 award categories focused on the main elements of what it means to be an Investor in People, from Excellence in Leadership and Management, to Excellence in Social Responsibility to Leader of the Year and Best Newcomer. Those who ranked at this year’s ceremony represent the companies who have fully embraced the IIP mission to unlock organisational success by realising the potential of their people. They are truly outperforming and impressive companies who value employees as the core of their business.
Stephen McGhee Principal of LMA Architects said “It is a privilege to be ranked 10th for the Silver Employer of the year (2-49) category; a clear indication of the dedication of the hard work the team has invested in the business.”
He added “This top 10 ranking rounds of an award filled year for the business which has seen us being announced as Winners of the Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce prestigious Business Excellence Award (Service Category) at their Platinum Dinner in March and announced as Ayrshire’s Best Business (11-50 Employees) at the Ayrshire Chamber Dinner in October where they narrowly missed out in the final to Ayrshire College in the Excellence in People Development category.”
Paul Devoy, Head of Investors in People, said: “This year’s Investors in People Awards were the biggest and best to date. It was fantastic to see so many worthy organisations nominated for out performing in their sector, demonstrating great people management practice and a commitment to staff development. Congratulations to LMA Architects for ranking 10th in the Silver Employer of the year (2 – 49) category.”
